Chili Supper 1963

Occasionally I might post something that precedes our years of Sheridan schooling, primarily because a large portion of us have parents who attended Sheridan schools. My dad was one of them. Many of the older images you see on this blog are from his yearbooks.
We've seen a newspaper article promoting our own Chili Supper, but I also found this full page flyer stuck in one of my dad's yearbooks. Look how aged the paper is!
In 1963 my dad was a sophomore, so this was his class project. Ricky Whitaker's dad was also in this class along with Mrs. Joan Wood (a 1st grade teacher for some of us). Notice the price - sixty cents!
